Hot Springs

After a long day of skiing or hiking, why not take a dip in one of the areas three hot springs.

Burgdorf Hot Springs

Burgdorf has a large swimming pool maintained around 100 °f year-round. It is fed by natural hot spring water at the rate of 150 gallons per minute. There are two small hot pools at the inlet that average around 113 °f. A partitioned shallow pool has been built for the little ones, though children must be accompanied and supervised by parents at all times.

Also offered are 15 historic cabins available for rent. The facilities are only accessible in winter via snowmobile.

Hours: 10am – 10pm

Cost: $6 per person; $4 for children under 14; children under 5 are free.


From McCall, head north on Warren Wagon Road for 28 miles. Turn left onto Burgdorf Rd/NF-246. Proceed for 1.7 miles.

Zims Hot Springs

Located in New Meadows, a short drive north of McCall, Zims Hot Springs provides an Olympic size pool which is maintained to 93 degrees. A soaking pool is kept a toasty 104 degrees. Zims is open year round.

Hours: Memorial Day-Labor Day, 10am-10pm daily; Winter: 12pm-10pm, 11pm Friday & Saturday, closed Mondays except holidays

Cost: Adults 13 & up $6, Children 3-12 & Seniors $5


From McCall, take US-55 north for 12 miles. At the junction with US-95 turn right and go 4.4 miles. Turn left onto Circle C Lane/Zims Road and proceed for 0.7 miles.

Gold Fork Hot Springs

Gold Fork Hot Springs provides 6 chlorine free mineral pools along with hydro massage. It is open year-round, but closed on Tuesdays.

Hours: 12pm – 9pm, Sat. 12pm – 11pm; Closed Tuesdays.

Cost: Adults – $8, Kids 11 and under – $6


From McCall, head south on US-55 for 16 miles. Turn left onto Davis Creek Lane, proceed for 2.5 miles. Continue straight for around 400 feet onto Gold Fork Rd then turn right to stay on Gold Fork Rd. After 0.3 miles stay left on Gold Fork and go another 1.6 miles, then turn right to stay on Gold Fork. Take the first right onto Gold Fork Rd/NF-498. The hot springs are located on the left.
