Ponderosa State Park
Ponderosa State Park sits on a 1,000-acre peninsula in Payette Lake. The scenic overlook at Osprey Point offers a spectacular view of the lake.
The park offers biking and hiking trails, guided walks with the park’s naturalists and evening campfire programs.
Peninsula Campground provides a total of 113 campsites. Sites include fire rings, picnic tables, water and electricity, dump station, and three bath houses with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is a covered picnic shelter which can be reserved by calling the park before your trip. There is also and RV campground with a total of 50 campsites: 4 which are ADA compliant. A bathhouse is centrally located and offers restrooms as well as a shower room, both of which have ADA accessibility.
RESERVATIONS: You may reserve campsites from the Thursday before Memorial Day until Labor Day. Reservations are taken up to 9 months in advance, but no less than 48 hours prior to your arrival. During off season, it is a first come serve.
The camping season typically ends mid-October. 5 Deluxe Cabins located on Payette Lake are reservable year round.

Northwest Passage Campground
Located at North Beach, at the northern end of Payette Lake, the park encompasses 630 acres. There are 22 non-reservable sites with fire pits, central water and vault toilets.
In summer enjoy swimming, canoeing, biking and hiking. In winter enjoy snowshoeing and Nordic skiing.
McCall Campground is a family run RV park located 2 minutes from McCall, and 3 minutes from Payette Lake. RV sites include 40 foot pull-throughs on concrete pads with water and electric hookups, and plenty of shade trees. Amenities include laundry room and indoor board game area with WiFi. Outdoor activities at the park include volleyball, tether ball, basketball, ping pong, horse-shoe pits and bean-bag toss.
Open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Cost: $30/day for RV, $20/day for tent camping.
